A strip mall in Daly City is not where you expect to find a modern Thai restaurant turning out hand-made curry puffs with a crust that flaky, but here we are. The menu swings from hat yai fried chicken at brunch to clay pot catfish and curries at dinner, and the bold seasoning makes the familiar stuff taste less familiar. The Michelin Guide has taken notice, which is either the surprise or not a surprise at all, depending on how you feel about strip malls.
