    Hand-woven kilim textiles and carved wood run through the individually designed rooms of this small boutique hotel on a quiet street just outside Baku's Old City walls. Balcony rooms look out over the neighborhood rooftops, and the Maiden Tower is a short walk. The scale keeps things unhurried, which suits a base for wandering the old quarter far better than a larger property would.
