A former Holiday Inn turned Kimpton property, the Saint George sits on Bloor Street just west of Yorkville, which means it's upscale without being precious about it. Nearly 200 rooms across 14 floors manage to feel boutique-scaled, with Frette linens and genuinely attentive service doing most of the convincing. The Fortunate Fox gastropub downstairs handles fish and chips and craft cocktails with equal enthusiasm. The Michelin Guide lists it among its selected hotels.
