A medieval complex of cobbled lanes and restored stone façades in the middle of Old Town, with 161 rooms running the range from rooftop views to a quiet leafy courtyard. The hotel manages to feel residential rather than touristy, which takes some doing given the address. Good walking access to Riga's main landmarks, and event spaces that lean into the centuries-old bones without turning the whole thing into a museum.
