A Korean fine dining restaurant in Kyoto where the chef trained in Seoul in royal court cuisine and came back with something to say. The set menu follows the idea that food and medicine share a root, so the multi-tiered lacquer box arrives loaded with Kyoto vegetables prepared as namul and kimchi, some dishes drawn from early Joseon recipes made before chilli peppers arrived. One Michelin star.
