A boutique hotel in a mansion that once belonged to Marie-Antoinette, on a lavender-scented island off the Atlantic coast. Grand staircases, velvet sofas, cobblestone courtyards, and a Cinq Mondes spa keep things appropriately aristocratic, while rooms range from antique-furnished bedrooms to a tower in the original structure and a freestanding cabin built from salvaged 18th-century timber.
