La Maison d'Uzès

A 17th-century house in the old center of Uzès with nine rooms, each one slightly different from the last the way historic buildings insist on being. Ceilings run improbably tall, the staircase commands attention, and the period bones sit comfortably alongside contemporary interiors. A spa with a Roman bath and hammam is tucked downstairs. The one-Michelin-Key hotel holds a restaurant that earned a Michelin star, which makes it easy to never leave the building.
