Bistronomic New American
A British chef and a Quebec sommelière running a bistronomic restaurant a short walk from the Canebière is either a great joke or a great meal, and Marseille seems to have decided it's both. Lunch runs a tight, sensibly priced menu; evenings go to a five-course creative format with a barbecue edge and sharp seasonal cooking. The R&B soundtrack and cosmopolitan kitchen keep things loose. Book early, or try the counter or the Cours Saint-Louis terrace from spring onward.
