1. La Parilla Loca

    Oakland's taco scene is no joke, and La Parrilla Loca sits near the top of it. This food truck runs Tijuana-style tacos off a charcoal grill that smokes everything beautifully, and the asada is the move. The chorizo is split open before hitting the grill so you get extra crispy, charred bits, and honestly, just order a campechana and get both. The Chronicle named it one of the best taco spots in the Bay Area, which tracks completely.
