A 16th-century villa folded into the Tramuntana foothills above Deià, this Belmond resort holds a Michelin Two Keys distinction and the kind of grounds that make guests forget Palma exists. Whitewashed walls, beamed ceilings, and Mallorquin furnishings fill the rooms; the higher suites add private pools and mountain panoramas. Literary types once came for the village below; the current crowd is, by most accounts, considerably more photogenic.
