The Cité radieuse is a landmark Brutalist apartment block where a small boutique hotel occupies two floors among actual residents. Rooms are compact and spare, but the modernist DNA runs through everything, down to the furniture. Le Corbusier believed in the building as a self-contained city, so central Marseille is a bus ride away. That's not a flaw in the plan; it was the plan.
