An 18th-century manor house with a decidedly modern interior, all designer furniture, moody light fixtures, and wine cabinets tucked into intimate dining nooks. This is a proper gourmet restaurant where the chef, who has cooked alongside Anne-Sophie Pic, leans hard into local Charente produce: mogette beans, snails, lamb from Confolens. In good weather, the leafy terrace makes the whole thing feel even more unfairly pleasant.
