A Palladian mansion six miles from Bath, set on 500 acres of private parkland with its own equestrian center, spa, indoor and outdoor pools, and a fine-dining restaurant. The 42 rooms and nine cottages lean into antiques and four-poster beds high enough to need a footstool, though comfort wins out over museum-piece restraint. It holds three Michelin Keys. Mr. Darcy cosplay is optional but the grounds will not discourage it.
