    The bar runs a DJ most nights, because Turks take nightlife seriously and nobody told the Aegean to slow down. Maçakizi is a boutique-style luxury hotel on Turkbuku bay, eighty-odd rooms done in breezy minimalism that feels more like a well-connected friend's summer house than a resort. Istanbul's beautiful people fill the beach club decks. Named 96th on the World's 50 Best Hotels list, it's seasonal, open roughly late April through October.
