    Southern Indian cooking in a strip mall near the Medical Center, where the booths are scuffed and the lighting belongs in a horror meme but the thalis arrive on banana leaves piled around a mound of white rice. This is the kind of casual, inexpensive spot that fills a real gap, since Northern Indian food tends to dominate the city. The biryanis and Madras curries hold up well for delivery, though the lunch thali is the reason regulars keep coming back.
