A Michelin-starred modern French restaurant in Minami-Aoyama whose name fuses the French word for "margin" with "merge," which turns out to be a fair description of the cooking. Prix fixe menus run classic French technique alongside something more restless and contemporary, and the two don't so much compete as quietly negotiate. The room is calm and considered, the kind of place where the chef has clearly thought hard about what a blank canvas is actually for.
