The oxblood banquettes curve through what was once an actual courtroom, which sets a high bar for atmosphere before the food arrives. This is a proper British dining room inside Tai Kwun's restored Central Magistracy, where the vaulted wood-panelled ceiling does most of the heavy lifting on décor. The menu runs roast beef, dressed crab, and soufflé Arnold Bennett, all delivered with the kind of precision that keeps regulars coming back without needing much convincing.
