    A 1930s house on the avenue Victor-Hugo, with tables spread across two floors and a kitchen that has clearly absorbed some serious training, including time with Guy Savoy and Joël Robuchon. This is a modern French restaurant where the seasonal menu leans into Burgundy's larder without being precious about it. Eight seats at the table d'hôte put you right beside the pass, which is either thrilling or a lot, depending on your relationship with eye contact.
