    Jewel-toned marble tiles in the bathrooms set the tone for this boutique hotel on Carondelet: unapologetically luxe but somehow never stuffy. The rooms feel like sleeping in the home of a wealthy friend with excellent taste and a light touch, the kind of place that holds a Michelin Key without making you feel like you need to dress for it. New Orleans has no shortage of grand hotels; this one just makes grand feel easy.
