Every one of the 23 suites is named for a character from Proust, which tells you everything about how seriously this Marais boutique hotel commits to the bit. Designer Jacques Garcia went full maximalist, layering rich color, texture, and literary objects until the rooms feel like rummaging through a very elegant attic. The Moorish spa and the cocktail bar, where the drinks take their cues from the novels, carry the same mood. It holds a Michelin Key.
