Perched on Paradeplatz, this old-school luxury hotel has been around forever and recently got a full rethink by Parisian designer Tristan Auer, who somehow made a historic Swiss grande dame feel current without erasing what made it one. Eighty rooms keeps it boutique by Zurich standards, and the city views are the kind that make you briefly reconsider your actual life. A Forbes Five Star property, with Lake Zurich and the old town essentially at the door.
