A former convent on a car-free cobbled street, Martin's Klooster is a 40-room hotel where two of the bedrooms are built inside the original medieval towers, some with fireplaces and stained glass still intact. The palette runs to calm browns and beiges, the chairs are deeply cushioned, and the interior courtyard makes the outside world feel like someone else's problem. Leuven's Old Market and ornate City Hall are an easy walk away.
