Milstead and Co. is a coffee shop on the ground floor of a new building down the hill from the Fremont Troll, which makes it the newer, shinier end of the neighborhood. The beans rotate through serious roasters like Heart, Kuma, and Sweet Bloom, so a quick Americano to-go gets the same care as a V60 pourover. Temple Pastries are in the case, a rarity around town. Come in a hoodie, leave with a very good cup.
