    A seven-story resort parked directly in front of Oceanside's historic wooden pier, with rolling surf visible from most rooms. The rooftop pool and bar, dressed in palm trees and retro daybeds, is where the whole hotel seems to migrate at golden hour for the panoramic Pacific sunset. The Baja-influenced restaurant Valle draws its own crowd. Oceanside is having a moment, and this resort arrived right on cue.
