    On Hvar's seafront promenade, Moeesy is a luxury boutique hotel that has been doing the intimate, residential thing since before anyone called it that. The rooms are modest in number, the atmosphere is quietly private, and the small spa and Mediterranean restaurant keep guests from ever needing a reason to leave. It's been around forever, and carries that ease well, like a grand hotel that stopped trying to impress you and just started being good company.
