    Nine bars and restaurants in one hotel is either a bold lifestyle statement or a very long walk to check-in. Mondrian Singapore Duxton sits on Duxton Hill and brings 302 rooms done in clean lines, stainless steel, and wood panels softened by green marble that nods quietly to the tropics. The outdoor pool has vertiginous skyscraper views, but the building's real center of gravity is the drinking and dining, which runs around the clock.
