Occy's Left, the surf break that made this corner of Sumba famous, still draws wave-chasers to what is now a full-scale luxury resort sitting between a private beach and untamed jungle. Private infinity pools, butler service, open-air spa pavilions, and three restaurants have replaced the surf-shack origins, though something unhurried in the atmosphere suggests they were never entirely erased. The Michelin Guide awarded it 3 Keys.
