This intimate Kyoto cuisine counter holds a Michelin star, and the chef's approach is almost austere: simple, honest preparation so each ingredient carries its own argument. The meal closes with handmade confectioneries and a bowl of thin tea the chef whisks himself, a quiet gesture of thanks.
