Stone walls and wooden beams from a 19th-century family home frame this four-room boutique hotel on a cobbled street in Gjirokastër's old town. The restoration kept the bones of the place and layered in dark wood and neutral tones rather than fighting them. Breakfast is homemade, the doughnuts are fried fresh each morning, and the chef will put together a seasonal dinner if you ask, which you probably should.
