    A private collection of Chinese antiques lines the walls of this low-lit, polished-wood dining room inside the Tangxiang Cultural Space on Xikang Road. Obscura holds a Michelin star for its tasting-menu cooking, which folds Sichuan tradition and forgotten regional techniques into something genuinely its own. The chef duo spent a year crossing China before opening, and the research shows on the plate without feeling like homework.
