    Dark wood, crisp white walls, and a gilded mirror or two define the look here, a luxury hotel in Taipei that describes its aesthetic as neo-classicism, though "enthusiastic Francophile" also covers it. Nearly 300 rooms come with private balconies, some with real skyline views. Downstairs, the dining options span Cantonese dim sum to a Moroccan-inspired bar, which is either confusing or charming depending on how you feel about commitment.
