The dining room looks out over Central Park and is quiet enough that you can actually hear your table talk, which at these prices seems like the least they could do. Thomas Keller's tasting menu restaurant holds three Michelin stars, a Forbes Five Star, and an AAA Five Diamond, and the kitchen earns them through classical French technique that shifts with the seasons. Service is warm without being stiff, which takes more skill than the food does.
