    A working rooftop periscope is either the best hotel gimmick in Athens or a useful reminder that Kolonaki is worth surveying. This compact boutique hotel leans into a subtle nautical theme, with grey tones and vaguely naval furniture keeping things wry rather than kitschy. Rooms are minimalist but come loaded with home-theater systems, and suites add balconies and a little room to breathe. The small bar handles breakfast and light bites without any fuss.
