Named for the French type designer Firmin Didot, this six-room neoclassical townhouse in central Athens operates more as an aristocratic pied-à-terre than a hotel. Spiral staircases, gilt mirrors, and pastel shutters do the decorating, with houseplants filling whatever space remains. Rooms come with built-in bookshelves and city views, breakfast arrives in-room, and the staff know every good restaurant nearby. Selected by the Michelin Guide.
