1. Peter Island Resort

    A private island resort in the BVI that's been around for years, recently rebuilt after a hurricane took it out, and now it's better than before. All 52 rooms sit right on Deadman's Beach, which is exactly as idyllic as it sounds. Five beaches, a spa, a steakhouse, a casual grill, and a yacht club for when your superyacht pulls in. The crowd wears linen and looks suspiciously unbothered. This is serious switch-off territory.
