    The bar inside looks like a private library someone forgot to lock, and that's before happy hour. This boutique hotel sits in the Central Business District, between the Warehouse District and the French Quarter, in a former railroad headquarters whose exposed brick walls the designers wisely left alone. The rooms split between a 12-story tower and a smaller neighboring building, and historical photographs of New Orleans keep things grounded in the city rather than the algorithm.
