Riad Botanica

A six-room riad in the old medina where the courtyard does what Moroccan courtyards are supposed to do: blue zellige pool, orange tree overhead, daybeds arranged for serious idling. The owners are Moroccan and Australian, and the rooms mix arched cedar doors and tadelakt walls with Florence Broadhurst textiles, which sounds unlikely and looks good. Mint tea masterclasses and storytelling soirées are on offer, and the rooftop bar pours sunset mocktails with full commitment to the ritual.
