    Victorian freestanding bathtubs in a medina courtyard mansion is the pitch, and Riad Tarabel delivers it without a single piece of brass camel kitsch in sight. This riad hotel earns a Michelin Key for a reason: Second Empire furniture, a courtyard pool, a spa, and dinner served wherever you happen to feel like sitting. It runs closer to a very grand private house than a conventional hotel, which is exactly the point.
