The tandoor does a lot of the talking at Rivaaj, a moody, formally dressed Indian restaurant inside the St. Regis Doha. The menu moves from street food to biryanis and rich curries, with the kitchen leaning into what it calls heritage cooking. Chef Jolly runs the show, and the service has the rare quality of seeming like it actually wants you there. The Michelin Guide has it selected.
