Three ski areas, Pischa, Rinerhorn, and Jakobshorn, are all within walking distance of this alpine hotel, which is the Turkish Rixos group's rare Swiss outpost. The 49 rooms mix brocaded headboards and gilded molding with modern tech without the seams showing, and after a day on the slopes a spa with pool, jacuzzi, and saunas is waiting. Two restaurants and two bars round it out. Open winters only, which the Alps tend to handle quite well.
