Seis Vecinos
Central American Mexican
A sunny corner restaurant at the base of a grand Bronx building, Seis Vecinos pulls from El Salvador, Honduras, and Mexico without trying to smooth everything into a unified thesis. Papusas, baleadas, and enchiladas share the menu without apology. The guacamole arrives in a molcajete and gets finished at the table, which is exactly the right way to start. The staff is warm and the room follows suit.
