Chef Sareen Rojanametin doesn't just cook Thai food, he interrogates it. Set in a dimly lit two-storey house along historic Charoen Krung, this intimate counter-dining experience holds everyone downstairs until the full group has assembled, then leads you up together. The black-walled room is quiet and a little theatrical, and the chef narrates each creation himself, including what he's done to tom yam, which takes a certain confidence.
