    Six pools and a private beach on the Palm Jumeirah's eastern crescent, and the city's skyline feels like someone else's problem. This Forbes Four Star resort leans into a French Polynesian theme without apology, palm-fringed gardens and azure water doing most of the convincing. Twelve restaurants and bars means you could stay a week without repeating yourself. It's about 30 minutes from the airport, which is the last time anything here will feel rushed.
