A boutique hotel on a quiet square in the 3rd, a short walk from Le Marais, built inside the former home of Renaissance polymath Salomon de Caus. The marble facade and Art Nouveau glass roof over the breakfast room do a lot of the work, and the compact rooms keep things simple: parquet floors, black-and-white palette, oil paintings on every wall. The open kitchen will hand you a cheese plate and a glass of wine whenever you need one.
