A boutique hotel built inside a pair of shophouses within the Khoo Kongsi clan compound, where each of the 15 suites draws light from a central skylight above water features rather than leaning on the Peranakan charm every other George Town address sells. Herringbone floors, custom armchairs, alabaster pendants, and near-total silence, despite Armenian Street's mural crowds being two blocks away. Byredo toiletries and Dyson appliances handle modern expectations; the architecture handles everything else.
