A boutique hotel steps from Mannheim's central station, STAYTION leans hard into a "music meets industry" concept: snare drums repurposed as nightstands, caged bulbs, worn wood, and subway tile across 43 rooms on six mostly music-themed floors. Reception hands you a pre-loaded iPod on the way in, which is either charming or a lot, depending on your relationship with curated vibes. The light and angles of the building, at least, require no concept at all.
