Mediterranean
Steki means "meeting place" in Greek, and the name does most of the explaining. This small, casual restaurant on a pedestrian lane in Alicante's old quarter is run by a Mexican-Greek couple who cook the Mediterranean with the inflections you'd expect from that biography. The format is sharing plates, with a minimum of five dishes between two, which turns out to be a perfectly reasonable way to work through a menu that moves between continents without making a fuss about it.
