Steve-O-Reno's is an artsy, cozy coffee shop on the edge of downtown Halifax, pulling cappuccinos and macchiatos from Nova Scotia beans alongside a brunch menu that runs to fish chowder and Montreal bagels with lox. No anaerobic pour-overs, no rotating roasters. Just a formula that's held since the Clinton years.
