Taberna Noroeste
Galician-Catalan Spanish
A few tables, an open kitchen behind the bar, and everyone seated at once, so don't be late. This small Poble Sec taberna runs a single, ever-changing surprise menu that pulls from both Galician and Catalan traditions, the chef's way of mapping where he's from onto where he landed. Fish and seafood lean creamy and carefully paired. The room is rustic without trying too hard, and the fixed start time gives the whole thing a dinner-party feel.
