    A steel-and-glass retrofit inside a century-old building on the Bilbao estuary, Tayko is a boutique hotel that leans into the tension between the two rather than ironing it out. Exposed concrete and polished industrial finishes sit alongside the original bones, and the rooms carry that same contrast from cozy singles up to junior suites. Martín Berasategui's Michelin-starred restaurant Ola is downstairs, which takes care of the question of where to eat.
